I’ve always had a passion for cooking. After college, I was accepted to culinary school…but to be 100% sure that’s what I wanted to do, I got a job cooking in a restaurant in Athens, GA.  After years of hostessing and waiting tables, I earned a new respect for restaurant chefs…and decided I didn’t want to be one. I love to cook for my family and friends, while listening to music, chatting and enjoying a glass of wine. Not crazy about servers yelling at me because I screwed up table 52’s order. So, I abandoned culinary school, got a job in the “real world” and spend my evenings and weekends cooking up a storm. With a a glass of wine in one hand and a ladle in the other ;0)

Hi I couldn’t find an email address to send this to, but I’m an Account Manager from G2, a marketing firm, and we’re putting together a cooking contest called the Aetna Healthy Food Fight, and it’s making its way around the country. It’s coming to Atlanta on October 23-24. I found your blog and it caught my attention. You, or your followers, could get great exposure for recipes and meet celebrity cooks (Bobby Flay, Sunny Anderson, Sara Moulton, or Cat Cora). Please go to healthyfoodfight.com to check it out. Deadline to sign up for Atlanta is October 6. Good luck if you decide to enter!

Regarding the butterflied chicken dijon from Fine Cooking, you mentioned that you made it in the oven with chicken breasts. Could you please tell me at what temperature and for how long you baked it? Thank you. Tammy
